Both Alcaidesa courses (Links & Heathland) are superb courses, maybe not as prestigous as some of the other local courses; San Roque (Old & New), Soto Grande, La Reserva & Valderama, but none the less enjoyable. I played the heathland course twice 2008/2009 season, once with a PGA member and once with an x scratch league player, both thier comments were most complimentary. It is incredible to think that the Heathland was only opened in 2007, designed by Dave Thomas !!
I think San Roque remains my favourite golfing experience, I have played it so many times that I consider it like my home club in Spain, recently though the greens were not as true as Alcaidesa Heathland.
The "Useful Links" to the right are websites I have used and found to be very helpful. Golf the Costa is particularly interesting if you would like to play competive but friendly golf whilst on holiday. Golf-Service is useful for booking discount golf.
GolfLessonsPGA is wholistic golf coaching (swing, mind and body) by a UK PGA pro, just the thing to combine with a golfing holiday, I'm sure they can help you put together a perfect package just for you.
If you are interested in playing the Alcaidesa courses while staying at the Marina I can usually get some fantastic discounts.
